Hopetoun offers an unrivalled location for clay shooting in Scotland. The 6,500 acre estate runs right along the banks of the Forth estuary offering groups an idyllic secluded parkland setting whilst being less than 30 minutes from Edinburgh city centre. We offer two types of clay shooting at Hopetoun, clay pigeon shooting and simulated game shooting. Both offer an exciting activity for either private or corporate groups. All of our packages can be tailored to meet your groups requirements including catering, competitions, hospitality and much more.

Clay Pigeon Shooting
Whether you're planning a stag weekend or a day out with clients or colleagues, clay shooting at Hopetoun offers a memorable and enjoyable activity for all. Each group has its own dedicated tutor on their own private piece of the estate. No previous experience or equipment is necessary.
Sample packages include:
- 20 Clays Per Person - £45 (allow one hour)
- 30 Clays Per Person - £55 (allow one and a half hours)
- 40 Clays Per Person - £65 (allow two hours)
Our prices include full instructions, safety equipment, gun hire, cartridges and clays so that you and your group have no extra costs to pay on the day. Clay pigeon shooting is available at Hopetoun all year round and we ask that you have a minimum group size of six.
Hopetoun also offers a number of optional extras for those participating in clay shooting, perfect for stag or hen weekends or corporate entertaining. This includes a range of dining packages and even whisky tasting.
