The Stables Tearoom

One of the delights of Hopetoun is a visit to the Stables Tearoom - a traditional tearoom complete with table service, but with a high quality contemporary menu. The Tearoom is open at the same time as Hopetoun seasonal opening from Easter until the last weekend in September.   A copy of our updated tearoom menu will be available soon. 

Home cooked and freshly prepared menu

Only a few miles from Edinburgh, you can escape to another world and soak up the timeless atmosphere of Hopetoun  within a spectacular setting. A delicious selection of home-made pastries, scones and sandwiches, salads and soups is available, using local, seasonal produce. The traditional afternoon teas are exceptional and a firm favourite with our regulars.

The Stables Tearoom is a clever and sensitive restoration of the 18th Century Adam Stables and Courtyard. It provides a stylish, historic setting which is perfect for meeting up with friends, family and colleagues who will appreciate an impeccable standard of catering and service.

Traditional Afternoon Cream Teas

For a special celebration, why not treat someone to a unique experience in style, and book a traditional full Scottish Afternoon Tea; or go a step further and try our Celebration Champagne Cream Teas as a luxury surprise? It is advisable to book in advance for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea.
