Outdoor Access Fun Day

Members of the Young Hopetoun Club met on Saturday 15th January for the first session of the 2011 programme.  Hopetoun Ranger Peter led the children on an exciting winter walk through the grounds of Hopetoun House, including the Deer Park.  There the children were treated to close-up sightings of the red deer herd and the magnificent stags feeding. 

Outdoor activities and games

There were activities and games along the way; these helped the children develop an awareness of the Scottish Outdoor Access code in a fun and entertaining way.
