We have a regular programme of tastings from our specialist producers lined up throughout the year. Come along and taste some of Scotlands Finest Food! All tasting events take place from 12pm - 4pm

Saturday 26th May

Cochrane Cottage is an award winning producers of FAT FREE drizzles and flavoured balsamic dressings and wherever possible use locally sourced ingredients. Come along and taste some without worrying about the calories.

Seasonal Produce Master Class

In conjunction with the owners of The Gardener's Cottage, Ed and Dale, a new restaurant opening in Edinburgh, we will be holding another master class using seasonal produce from the farm shop. They will be preparing a three-course meal and giving tips on making the most of the quality seasonal foods by artisan producers. Tickets will cost £15 and can be bought from the farm shop or by phoning 01506 830716 to book your ticket.

Saturday 2nd June

Findlaters Fine Foods are providing an opportunity to tase their full range of delicious pates. Just the names conjure up gourmet delights! Venison Pate with Pancetta and Scottish Whisky; Smoked Mackerel Pate with fresh Coriander Leaf and Lemon; Avocado and Cashew Nut Pate and many more delicious flavours to choose. come along and try some.

Saturday 12th June

Stoats are an Edinburgh based company using only the finest Scottish oats in their range or products including oatcakes, porridge pots, uber bars and oat bars. Come along and sample some of them.

Thursday 28th June 7.00 p.m. - 9.00 p.m.

The farm shop is again teaming up with award winning chef Wendy Barrie to bring a Summer Fruits Master Class. Wendy will be looking beyond traditional jams and chutneys to create some new jars of goodness. On the menu will be Berry Chutney, Raspberry Vinegar, Mixed Berry Brandy Pot and Sicily-inspired Strawberry Granilo. Your Piece bakery are a Fife based company producing an award winning selection of produce including oatcakes, sweet biscuits, shortbread and cereals. Come along and taste some samples.

Spencerfield Spirit Company are a local company from Inverkeithing. Why not come along and sample some of their famous Edinburgh Gin, Sheeps Dip Malt Whisky and Pigs Nose blended Whisky.

Saturday 14th July

Shortbread House of Edinburgh is a small, award winning family run business employing a small team of skilled bakers using the very best quality ingredients. Along with their shortbread that comes in 8 different flavours, they also make sweet oaties, Dundee cake and Malt Whisky cake. You will be able to taste a selection of their products today between 12.00 + 4.00
