Olympic Torch - West Lothian Schools Event

Hopetoun House will be closed to visiting public on the 13th June.  The event being held at Hopetoun is restricted to pupils, teachers and nominated helpers.

The Olympic Torch Relay is visiting every council area in Scotland and in West Lothian it is stopping in two locations Hopetoun House and Broxburn and it is travelling in convoy mode through the village of Winchburgh.

The event at Hopetoun House has been organised as a transition event for 500 P7 pupils from West Lothian School clusters and from South Queensferry. The event has been organised in partnership with Hopetoun House and Lothian and Borders Police. It is an ambitious event which we are sure every pupil will always remember.

Public Events are being held throughout the region. Locally in West Lothian, a large public celebration for the whole community will be held in Broxburn on 13th June.   For further information
