Firewood and forestry products

Hopetoun has extensive woodlands and operates a policy of sustainable forestry.  The Estate provides logs for sale from its own woods and the local area all the year round and Christmas trees in season.

Firewood

Hopetoun supplies local seasoned hardwood logs by the bag and by the load; £5.00 per bag and £150.00 for a 2 metre cubed load.  A double load will be £280.  There is also a discretionary haulage charge for distances over 12 miles.  Please contact 0131 331 1546 for more information.

Firewood is amongst the most eco-friendly of fuels, being carbon neutral and buying your logs locally saves transport miles.  Our logs are the best quality for cosy winter warmth.

Christmas Trees

Our Christmas Trees are grown locally, so buy locally and save transport miles.  Our Christmas trees are available from December 1st.  We have a range of different tree types and sizes at very good value; choose the best tree for you from a great selection of Lodge Pole Pine, Norway Spruce, Fraser Fir, Noble Fir and Nordmann Fir.
