The newly refurbished self catering accommodation has a beautiful, spacious sitting room with log fire, bedroom with lovely views, a kitchen with every facility you might require and a roomy, beautifully finished bathroom. Every room is furnished with care and style, in tune with the original character of the cottage and the heritage of Hopetoun. 

You might be tempted never to leave the Thatched Cottage, but immediately out of doors are lovely woodland walks, cycle paths and the splendid Hopetoun House Stately Home, all waiting to be explored. In terms of a self catering holiday cottage for two, the Thatched Cottage is just perfect

The Thatched Cottage is ideally located for other parts of central Scotland with Edinburgh only 12 miles away.  For a holiday location that combines a rural idyll with easily accessible city visits, Hopetoun is exceptional.

The Thatched cottage operates a flexible  calendar; choose to start your stay any day of the week and stay as long as you like assuming availability (minimum stay 2 nights in off, low and mid season, one week at other times, although please feel free to contact us to discuss your specific requirements for your stay.)
