Legends of the Green ManYoung Hopetoun Club at Hopetoun near Edinburgh

 

With Spring just around the corner, members of the Young Hopetoun Club met on Saturday 5th March to learn about the mystical figure of the Green Man. They followed a trail through the Hopetoun woods, hunted for carvings on the front of the House and made a clay face of their own "guardian of Nature". The children also sowed seeds of woodland flowers with the Ranger

The next YHC meeting is the "Easter Eggstraordinaire", a morning of egg decoration and Easter fun, which takes place on Saturday 2nd April 2011. See our whats on section for further details.
