The Young Hopetoun Club

The Young Hopetoun Club is a Saturday morning club for children aged between 7 and 12 years old; it meets once a month from September to June. The children have a great time getting absorbed in all sorts of fun activities and workshops, in and around Hopetoun House.

Drama workshops held within the House itself are always very popular; the children dress in period costume and imagine what it was like to live in the House in earlier times.

Craft sessions are a fun and creative way to learn about the history and environment of Hopetoun. Whenever possible, the activities are out of doors, exploring the nature trails in the grounds to spot wildlife and interpret the natural environment, with pond dipping an all time favourite.
