Hopetoun House, a timeless and elegant stately home set within the expansive Hopetoun Estate near Edinburgh, is one of Scotland’s most iconic venues. Throughout the year, Hopetoun House plays host to unforgettable weddings, private events, and exclusive celebrations, with its grand interiors, award-winning catering, and breathtaking surroundings.

Open to the public from Easter to late September, the House and Grounds offer a seasonal visitor experience rich in history, architecture and natural beauty.

Throughout the year, our Ranger and Education Team offer school groups that follow the National Curriculum.

Hopetoun House, Grounds & The Stables Kitchen are now closed for the 2026 visitor season.
